For the last month I have been using Celique Smooth Hair Shampoo and Conditioner with my tape hair extensions. The shampoo is one that is recommended by the stylist who put in my hair extensions, so this is why I ended up trying it. First up I should mention that this shampoo and conditioner is expensive at $19.95 for a 315ml bottle.

Celique Smooth Shampoo

The (very stylish) bottle is somewhat smaller than most products in that price range, which is worth a mention. Once I got in the shower, opened the bottle and put some on my hand. The first thing that struck me is the amazing smell of this product.

It’s a sweet, fruity scent and it really is quite lovely. The shampoo is quite light and so it isn’t heavy when you are working it into your hair. Personally, I only wash my hair once or twice a week. So it foams much better on the second wash, with the first wash not producing much foam. I have a sensitive scalp and I find this to be quite soothing.

Celique Smooth Conditioner

The conditioner is thicker in comparison to the shampoo. But amazingly once it gets into my hair it seems to get sucked right in and my hair feels smoother right away. My hair is quite processed and this conditioner gives good moisture, without overdoing it. I only leave the Celique smooth conditioner in for a couple of minutes. And when I wash it off, my hair stays quite soft. I do highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner combo, and feel that it is worth the extra money. I was also offered a conditioning spray when I purchased these items. But I didn’t get that, so perhaps next time I might buy that too.

Since I have been using this shampoo and conditioner, I have had a couple of comments about how my hair smells fruity. This can either be good or bad, depending on how you feel about people sniffing your hair. All in all this product gets a thumbs up and I would recommend it for the tape hair extensions.
